After working closely with Ascent on many of their employee communications, Ralph was asked to help with an internal competency campaign. An approach was needed that could present a series of messages that if not handled correctly could feel too dictatorial to the employee audience.
Ascent provides military flight training for the UK's armed forces. With this in mind we drew inspiration from the style and tone of 40's wartime poster art. By taking this approach it gave us a strong identity for the campaign as well as being able to use more autocratic messages that were accepted as being part of the pastiche.
