Ascent provide the Military Flying Training System for the UK’s Armed Forces through a joint partnership between Babcock and Lockheed Martin. Part of providing this service includes delivering a wide range of materials to trainees and ensuring they have clear visibility within the MOD and its partnership network. Ascent approached Ralph to enhance their online presence and internal communications.
The Ralph team took a cohesive approach to delivering a simple, yet professional style across the communications, including a CMS website, collateral, exhibition graphics and partnership materials. Dynamic aircraft images over tinted backgrounds created brand ownership over the imagery and an infographic style was devised to communicate the complex messaging. Ralph went on to deliver an internal competency campaign focused on promoting behaviours and values. The campaign had to strike the right balance between sensitivity and impact. Drawing inspiration from 40’s wartime poster art, an illustrative concept was rolled out across the entire campaign.
